Home / Wednesday, September 30

North Conway, NH

Following the opening of the Convocation, it will journey for the next 6 days (Wednesday Sept. 30 through Monday Oct. 5) to the following North Country host communities. The host and neighboring communities will show-case their local institutions, organizations, businesses, and activities that represent “new directions in commerce and culture”.

The visits provide the communities with the opportunity to take an inventory of their assets, perk up the “feathers in their caps”, lift up their “glasses half full“, and offer a toast to the visitors from near and far. We trust that the fruits of the preparations will not only yield a bounteous harvest for the host and neighboring communities. But, we trust that the visitors will bring fruits of the autumn harvest — an aspiring model for regional development — back with them to their states and native lands.
